Terms and Conditions

These terms are a contract between you and UmnistTech, the company behind Lovizo. They cover your use of lovizo.com and the Lovizo application. By creating an account or using Lovizo, you agree to them.

How we handle your personal data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Lovizo. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@lovizo.app if you think someone else has access to it.

The information you give us when creating an account (like your email) needs to be accurate. One account per person; using multiple accounts to get around usage limits or free credits isn't allowed.

Lovizo turns video you provide, by link or by upload, into short clips using automated processing. Results depend on the source video: how much someone speaks, how clear the audio is, and how the platform you linked from behaves. We don't guarantee a specific number of clips, a specific quality, or that every video will produce a usable result.

Lovizo runs on credits. One credit covers one minute of source video, regardless of how many clips we generate from it or how long the clips end up being. Plans set how many credits you get each month; unused credits from a monthly refill don't carry over unless we say otherwise.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on what you picked) until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep your plan and credits until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then move to the free plan.

Payment is handled by a third party payment processor. We don't receive or store your full card number.

All payments are final and non refundable. Turning your video into clips uses real, per minute computing and video processing resources the moment you submit it, whether or not you end up happy with the result. Because of that cost, once you've generated clips from at least one video, the plan or credits you purchased are considered used and are not eligible for a refund, in full or in part, even if you have credits left over or cancel afterward.

This is separate from what happens when a job fails because of an error on our side. In that case, the credits held for that specific job are automatically returned to your balance. That's a credit return for our mistake, not a cash refund, and it doesn't change the no refund policy above for successful use of the service.

If you're in the EU, EEA, or UK: consumer law normally gives you 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without a reason. By purchasing a plan or credits and asking us to start generating clips, you expressly request that we begin performing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that doing so ends your right of withdrawal once performance has started, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you haven't generated any clips yet, contact support@lovizo.app within 14 days of purchase to withdraw.

You keep ownership of the videos you submit and the clips we generate from them. By submitting a video, you give us a limited license to access, process, store, and transmit it solely to provide the service to you, including delivering your clips back to you.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to submit whatever video you give us, and to have it processed into clips. Don't submit content you don't own or don't have permission to use this way.

You agree not to:

• Submit content that's illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the rights to.
• Try to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or account restrictions.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to access it in a way we haven't authorized.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service using Lovizo's output at scale without our permission.
• Use Lovizo for anything illegal or that could harm us or other users.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. See Termination.

Lovizo, its name, and its interface belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights to our brand, software, or technology beyond using the service as intended.

If you believe content processed through Lovizo infringes your copyright, email support@lovizo.app with enough detail for us to locate the content and verify the claim, and we'll look into it.

We work to keep Lovizo available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, add to, or remove features over time, and we'll let you know about changes that meaningfully reduce what a paid plan includes.

Lovizo is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise the clips we generate will be error free, perfectly framed, or suitable for any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied.

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Lovizo. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law, such as liability for our own fraud or gross negligence.

You agree to cover reasonable costs and damages we face because of content you submitted or your violation of these terms, except where that violation is our fault.

You can close your account anytime from Account settings; this cancels any active subscription and deletes your content, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users. The refund policy above still applies after termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

We may update these terms as the product changes. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the effective date at the top and, where reasonably possible, let you know. Continuing to use Lovizo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
